I did have very long hair (down to my hips when straight)(they did not charge extra for hair length), and I asked for a only tiny trim; but they ended up taking like seven inches off! However, one of my friends with long hair had the same thing done at a different salon, so I think this may just be common in Israel. :( I just went this week. Also, expect to wait in line at least an hour and the teachers dont always come over and fix what the students have done.
